ON GARRISON KEILLOR Do you Garrison Keillor fans notice that he never appears to invent or imagine a story? He just dredges it up from the depths of his collective memory. He mixes accurate expression with a generous dose of humor. The lesson here for the public speaker is that you can deliver through your voice what the page can not convey. Let your "mix" include an effortless blend of humor and poignancy, gentle insights, keen observations and above all, bring a sense of truth to all of your presentations.
